The Splitting Sea

from $100.00

After the Jewish people escaped from slavery in Egypt, they made their way to Israel. They didn't get far though before their captors chased them down and managed to corner the Jewish people. The only way of escape from the Egyptians was through the Red Sea.

With complete faith in God's ability to save him, Nachshon ben Amindov started walking into the ocean. He waded through the waters until they reached his neck. At that point, God responded to Nachshon's faith in him and caused the whole sea to split.

With this painting, we are watching with the rest of the Jewish people as the waters rise into pillars for bnei yisroel to pass through. We are watching the miracle as it's taking place.
